U.N. Report Linking Youth Depression to COVID-19

Extended COVID-19 lockdowns, and closures have lead to isolation for many youth, resulting in a pervasive sense of uncertainty continuing to affect the mental health of youth leading to depression and anxiety.

Forbes Magazine, discusses a recent study from the University of Calgary published in JAMA Pediatrics indicating depression and anxiety in youth have doubled over the pandemic.

The study indicates the mental health of various groups will continue to be impacted by COVID-19.
