Parents, teachers, and caregivers can use these tools to spot the warning signs, start important conversations, and learn when to seek help.

What are the warning signs?

Making suicidal statements
is a warning sign.

It is important to take suicidal statements seriously.

There are statements such as, “I could just die!” which are meaningless,

then there are calm statements made about ending one’s life that should always be

taken seriously.

Counselling is an important preventative intervention. When Teens are feeling depressed, have withdrawn from their social life, or have no desire for fulfilment in their life, counselling can help.
